California Driving Laws: A Complete Guide

In California, teens can get a permit at 15½ and a license at 16 with driver education and supervision. Seatbelts, car seats, and hands-free laws are strictly enforced. DUI laws, speed limits, and a point system regulate safe driving. Insurance and vision checks are required, and licenses renew every 5 years.
