The feature explores some of the most memorable appearances, including Drake’s Ferrari LaFerrari in “I’m Upset,” The Weeknd’s McLaren P1 in “Starboy,” and Jay-Z and Kanye West’s infamous Maybach 57 in “Otis.” Across genres, other standout rides include Missy Elliott’s Jaguar XJ220, Monica’s Fisker Tramonto, and Lil’ Kim’s rare Mercedes-Benz G-Class Cabriolet.

Popular 2025 RV Trends

As 2025 unfolds, the RV industry is embracing a wave of innovation—driven by consumer demand, sustainability goals, and smart technology. Manufacturers are rolling out updates that reshape both design and function, giving adventurers more choices than ever before.

This year’s standout trends include a strong shift toward sustainable travel, with solar panels, LED lighting, recycled materials, and advanced lithium-ion battery systems becoming mainstream. Interiors are going lighter and brighter, moving away from dark wood cabinetry to airy, modern designs seen in brands like Newmar and Tiffin.

Beyond looks, RV makers are paying closer attention to chassis quality, ensuring long-term safety and performance. Temperature control is also getting an upgrade—new innovations like the Furrion Chill Cube and honeycomb flooring in the Winnebago Revel improve comfort while reducing noise.

The rise of smart technology is unmistakable, from Airstream’s connected features to Winnebago Connect’s app-controlled systems. Finally, RVs in 2025 are more ready than ever for off-grid adventures, with models like the Winnebago EKKO and Antero Adventure Van delivering solar, efficient power, and rugged independence.

With sustainability, connectivity, and freedom at the core, these trends show how the RV lifestyle is evolving to meet modern travelers’ expectations.

Chinese Supercar Becomes Fastest Production EV at 472 km/h

A new milestone in electric performance has been set—China’s Yangwang U9 Track Edition has claimed the record for the world’s fastest production EV, clocking an astonishing 472.41 km/h (293.54 mph) at Germany’s ATP Automotive Testing Papenburg track.

Powered by four electric motors producing a combined 2,959 horsepower, the U9 rockets from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.36 seconds. German driver Marc Basseng piloted the record run on August 8, improving on his own previous attempt and surpassing rivals like Japan’s Aspark Owl (438.72 km/h) and Croatia’s Rimac Nevera R (431.45 km/h).

Launched by BYD in 2023, Yangwang’s U9 debuted in 2024 with a starting price of 1.68 million yuan (approx. CAD $325,000). The new Track Edition features advanced engineering, including a 1,200-volt electrical system, custom semi-slick tires from Giti, and a high-speed torque-vectoring system capable of 100 inputs per second.

While Yangwang currently sells the U7 sedan and U8 SUV in China, the brand is eyeing Europe as its next stage, positioning itself as a high-performance EV challenger to the world’s established supercar makers.
